When Jewel went upstairs, she went straight to her son's room. She sat down on her son's bed and picked up one of Storm's pillows. She scanned the room, looking at the books and drawings she could see.

Later, her eyes darted to a photo album lying on the bedside table. She picked it up and opened it. Her tears quickly dropped when she saw its contents. Pure pictures of her with different angles, with the words 'My superhero and the best mom in the world' written at the bottom. She also saw a few pictures of the two of them together. Her son has a bigger smile in those pictures.

Even though her son is still young, she was already proud of him. He grew up smart and could speak well. He also loved to debate like his father.

This time, she realizes her shortcomings. She knew in herself that she had great shortcomings with the child. She can't be able to give the child a whole family, then, she also let the child feel that he was alone.

Jewell falls in remorse at those times. Perhaps her mother was right that she was to blame for all of the happenings and no one else should be blamed, only her.

The next day, Jewel woke up early because the police were going to their house to give an update. It had been 24 hours since her son disappeared.

She took a shower and tidied up before finally leaving the room. Just after she got downstairs, she caught up with her parents who were talking to the police. She quickly approached them.

"Sir, is there any news about my son? Did you see him?" She immediately asked.

She wants to see and be with her child as soon as possible. She wants to make up for all her shortcomings as a mother. It’s just funny to think that if this thing never happens, she wouldn’t see the value of her son.

“Calm down, Ms. Jewel. We have a lead on where your child is. " The policeman replied.

"Where is he?"

"Someone said they saw your son with someone yesterday. They didn't know if your child knew the person he was walking with or not. But earlier, we received confirmation that your child is in good condition and good people are with him. "

"What are we waiting for? We need to go to the place you say. I need to get my son, " she said in a hurry.

The policeman immediately nodded and left their house. She told her parents to leave them alone and she would be the only one to come over.

They quickly reached the place where the child was. Jewel could hardly move when they reached a condominium.

They quickly entered the building along with two other policemen.

While they were in the elevator, Jewel was so nervous. She almost held her breath. Later, the elevator opened. They were already on the floor where her son was.

When they were in front of a unit, her sweat was dripping. She couldn't hide the fact she was almost shaking in nervousness. She doesn't want to think anything but the truth was slapping her to the idea that she already knows who's the person that her son was currently with.

"Hey... Are you sure you are okay? You're pale." Her cousin commented in worrying.

She immediately nodded in response. Even though she really wanted to slap her cousin because he didn't even say to her that he knew who was with her son.

She even saw her cousin knock on the door. After a few seconds, it opened and she was surprised to see the only person that she never wanted to meet again.

"What's the matter?" The person asked.

Before Jewel's cousin or the cops could answer the person, a woman suddenly came.

“What’s going on here? What's the problem, Thunder? Why are there the police? " The woman asked in surprise and eyes suddenly widened when she looked at her cousin.
