Unwanted Wife novel Chapter 37

When Jewel arrived at their house she didn't hear any noise that surprised her, she also suddenly felt scared for an unknown reason so she quickly entered and found their two maids with her son's nanny tied up. She quickly untied it and removed the tape that was covered in their mouths.

"What happened here? Where is my son?" she asked quickly

"We also didn't know ma'am we were just surprised when there was a sudden knock and when I opened it the gun was pointed at me so I didn't do anything to the five men. They didn't take anything or money."

"They just tied us up ma'am, at first they were looking for you and I said you weren't here, they even searched the house to make sure you weren't here." the second maid said.

"Before they saw me I made sure that Storm was safe, I hid him in the cabinet." Her son's nanny said

Jewel hurried to the child's room. She quickly opened the cabinet and saw her son crying, she hugged him tightly. "Hush now baby, mommy is here." she is trying to calm her son

"There are bad guys mom, they are looking for you." the little boy said while crying

"That's why the nanny needs to hide me here." her son added while trembling until now due to fear.

"Don't worry I'll call your uncle Kevin."

She quickly picked up her phone and called Kevin to come in, less than a few minutes he had arrived already, because before Jewel called him he was on the way to Jewel's house to visit Storm.

"What happened here?" Kevin said upon arrival, he was accompanied by a policeman who was his friend.

Their housemates immediately told what happened.

"Who's going to do this to you? Based on what they said they're looking for Jewel, do you remember someone who is angry at you? Looks like they need you, it's a good thing and they didn't do anything bad  and it's a good thing they didn't see Storm."  Kevin's said

"It looks like they have a bad plan for your cousin Kev," the policeman suddenly said

They were in the middle of thinking when Jewel's phone suddenly rang, they all stared at the same time, Kevin prompted the cousin to answer it because it might be connected to what happened to them, the police also quickly took the laptop to track the caller.

"H-hello,"

“Hi Jewel, do you like my surprise? Too bad you're not there." the woman's voice in the line

"W-who are you? W-what do you want?" Jewel stammered

The woman on the other line laughed out loud, "You have to pay for what you've done Jewel, you are the reason why I'm suffering." the girl voice was angry

"What do you need?" Jewel strained to stabilize herself.

"You choose Jewel, your life or your child's life?" the girl said while laughing

Jewel immediately looked at her son who was being hugged by her uncle Kevin.

"You devil! Whoever you are, don't touch my son!" 

"Let's see then, and one more thing don't trust so much, there are so many snakes in this world, see you around my dear Jewel." She said and dropped the call
