Unwanted Wife novel Chapter 40

Thunder woke up first and just smiled when he saw the girl next to him who was sound asleep. He could not fully imagine that after a few years he would be with his wife again. He knows he has been stupid and he has not treated her well and he deeply regrets it.

Since they got married, his anger has accumulated because he blames Jewel for why he was tied up early and lost being a bachelor. So he promised himself that he would never love her and he would do everything to make her life miserable with him. And he did succeed because of what he did every day and showed it to the girl.

And when his wife left him it was only then that he realized all the wrongs he had done, he thought he would not feel love for the girl but on a daily basis without her presence in their house it was there that he realized how important Jewel is to him.

He also couldn't understand why he treated the girl like that even though they were friends when they were kids, maybe he was just angry about the marriage thing. And now that he has recovered from this he has no plans to let her go. He will do everything for his family.

After a minute Jewel woke up feeling like someone was staring at her and she wasn't mistaken because when she opened her eyes, Thunder's face immediately appeared on her.

"Good Morning wifey," he greeted with a smile

"Good Morning. What time did you wake up?"

"I think it was an hour ago." He answer

The girl immediately got up. "Why didn't you wake me up?"

"You are in deep sleep so I didn't do it and it's okay because the view is beautiful and I had time to stare at you."

"Crazy! I need to go home. I'm sure that Kevin is worried."

"I'll take you home, I'll just shower for a while." he said and stood up

Another hour passed before they finally left Thunder's condo, fortunately there was no traffic so they arrived at Jewel's house quickly.

When Thunder was taking a bath earlier, Jewel's mom called to let them know that they were home, so they will definitely be surprised when Jewel's parents see them together.

Jewel rang the doorbell three times and saw their maid running out. "Good Morning ma'am, sir," she greeted the two.

When they got inside they found Jewel's parents who were sitting and also seemed to be waiting for their arrival. "Where have you been?" Her mother asked as soon as she noticed them.

"We just talked ma, pa and we just fixed our problem." Thunder replied, smiling at the couple.

"It's good that you're doing the right things now so that you can give my grandson a complete family." Jewel's mom sadi

"Jewel, we heard what happened yesterday. Kevin told us." his father suddenly said

"Yes dear, your daddy and I were doubly worried when we found out what happened and it's a good thing that no one got hurt." her mother seconded

Thunder suddenly frowned and looked at Jewel as if asking what her parents meant.

"What happened?" He could no longer bear it and asked 

"You're here Thunder, are you both okay now?" Kevin asked. "Oh Jewel you haven't told Thunder what happened yet?" she faced her cousin

Thunder wondered even more what Jewel's cousin was talking about. Jewel began to talk about what had happened in their house. They could feel Thunder's great concern to find out what had happened. They even talked about what to do before Jewel excused herself to go to her son's room.
