Chapter 115: "General, please go easy on me.”

Han Zhan glanced at Peng Xiu and saw the sly smile playing on her lips, her gaze malicious. Lian, ever the one to stir trouble, yelled at the brawny soldier, "My master could beat you into next week you idiot!"

The brawny man laughed, crossing his arms over his chest. "Little brat, don’t be delusional. Your master is weak and a woman. How can she beat me?"

Xiang Yu, who was fired up and eager to put someone in their place, placed his hand on his waist and curled his fingers, beckoning the soldier over. The brawny man stiffened, unsure if she was serious. Fighting the princess could be considered treason.

"Is it because you are scared of this weak woman?" Xiang Yu taunted, his tone dripping with disrespect. The brawny man looked to the general for permission. Han Xin, his face impassive, did nothing to stop him. Taking this as a sign, the soldier stepped forward, ready to face the princess.

The crowd fell silent, anticipation hanging thick in the air. Xiang Yu’s eyes gleamed with excitement as he prepared to serve a fresh plate of ass whooping. This time he wouldn’t hold back like he did with Yi Nuo.

With a calm and calculating gaze, he faced the man. He knew their strengths were vastly different; the soldier was undeniably stronger. Since that was the case then he decided to wear him out by staying elusive. He darted around the circle with agile grace taunting the man.

The crowd watched in disbelief, murmuring among themselves. No one thought the princess could win. The brawny soldier grew increasingly frustrated as he failed to catch her, his movements becoming more fierce and erratic. She was as slippery as an eel.

Xiang Yu’s lips curled into a twisted smile, like a predator toying with its prey. Seizing the moment, he leapt onto the soldier’s back, locking him into a sleeper hold. The brawny man thrashed and tried to shake him off, but Xiang Yu held firm, his eyes gleaming with a sinister light. The soldier’s struggles grew weaker, but he refused to tap out.

The soldiers around them, initially sceptical, began to cheer for the princess. Han Xin watched, captivated by the sight of her silk dress flowing gracefully with each movement, the spark in her eyes revealing she was truly in her element. His heart pounded faster than usual, unable to tear his gaze away. He couldn’t deny it any longer—he wanted her to be his.

Xiang Yu bit his lip with a triumphant smile as the brawny soldier’s resistance waned. The other soldiers, now eager to test their valour against the formidable princess, argued among themselves, shouting, "I will go next!"

Han Zhan laughed finding their actions amusing. "Why are they acting like they’re fighting for her affection?" But before he could finish speaking, Han Xin stood up and walked towards the circle, the soldiers parting to make way for him.

When Xiang Yu met Han Xin’s gaze, he chuckled softly, a thrill of excitement running through him. This was going to be interesting. A teasing smile played on his lips as he said, "General Han, isn’t this bullying a weak woman like me?"

Han Xin’s eyes twinkled with amusement as he replied, "What weak woman?" The soldiers around them burst into laughter.
