Su Bei’s shoulders slumped in disappointment. He had hoped for more, especially since Xiang Yu was exactly his type. With a nod, he accepted the rejection gracefully, though his heart felt a pang of regret. Xiang Yu watched him leave, feeling a mix of relief and irritation.

Soon, Xiang Yu walked out of the bathroom, his steps measured and composed, with the blushing Su Bei trailing behind him. Xiang Yu had already bid Su Bei a polite goodbye, but Su Bei, lost in his thoughts, subconsciously followed. As Xiang Yu approached his table, he noticed his unintended shadow and turned around, his expression calm but questioning. "Is there anything else?" he asked.

Su Bei, realizing he had been following without thinking, turned beet red. "So sorry, I didn’t mean to," he stammered, stepping back hastily. In his flustered state, he nearly collided with a waiter carrying a tray of dishes.

"Watch out," Xiang Yu said, his reflexes quick as he pulled Su Bei out of harm’s way. Su Bei found himself pressed against Xiang Yu’s chest, his heart pounding. It felt like a scene straight out of a romantic drama where the hero saves the beauty. His cheeks flushed a deep crimson.

Xiang Yu quickly let go, his expression neutral. Su Bei bowed, thanking him profusely, while the waiter apologised for the near mishap. Xiang Yu returned to his table, his mind already shifting to how he would handle the situation with the pair.

Lian looked up as he sat down. "Master, I almost thought you fell into the toilet. You took too long," she teased.

Han Zhan, having witnessed the scene with Su Bei, smirked. "Did you meet someone on the way?" he asked, his tone playful.

Xiang Yu ignored Han Zhan’s comment and instead pulled out his phone. "Is this you?" he asked, showing the screen to Lian and Mei.

Lian and Mei exchanged guilty glances. "..." They had indeed installed the app and answered all the questions, with a little help from Little Bai. Little Bai, feeling the weight of Xiang Yu’s gaze, wished the ground would swallow him whole.

Han Zhan, curious, reached for the phone. "What’s that?" he asked, taking it before Xiang Yu could react. "Ohhh, you had so many matches. Wait, is this a—"

The twins immediately protested. "Master, there is no need to be so strict," Mei pleaded, her eyes wide with dismay.

"But Master, you said that we should look for a new boyfriend for you," Lian added, her voice a whisper but loud enough for everyone to hear.

Han Zhan, never one to miss an opportunity, chimed in with a smirk. "Ohhh, you had a boyfriend before?"

Xiang Yu ignored Han Zhan’s comment and reached across the table, taking the tiramisu from in front of Lian and the cheesecake from in front of Mei. He then turned his attention to Little Bai, who was trying to make himself as inconspicuous as possible, his head lowered as he ate his ice cream.
