That night, after a rainstorm, Peng Xiu had fallen in the garden and, covered in mud, had conveniently asked to use the bathroom. She had approached Han Xin, who was engrossed in his laptop, and asked if she could use his bathroom. Without looking up, Han Xin replied with a definitive no.

Peng Xiu had then mentioned the leaking shower and the broken water heater in the other bathrooms. Han Xin still didn’t pay any attention to her. He wasn’t at all considerate of the fairer sex. Han Zhan had to intervene suggesting she took a shower with cold water or ask Butler Qing to heat water in a kettle and pour it into a bucket for her. Peng Xiu had glared at him before pleading with Han Xin again, who had simply reiterated Han Zhan’s words.

Now, Han Zhan realised that Peng Xiu had been trying to get closer to Han Xin through this ploy, but her plans had been thwarted. He turned to the butler, about to suggest heating some water when Han Xin interrupted. "You can use my bathroom upstairs," he said, much to everyone’s surprise.

The sun had definitely risen from the west. Even Han Zhan wasn’t allowed to his bathroom. He would have gotten the same treatment as Peng Xiu. His jaw dropped.

"Cousin," he began, but Xiang Yu cut him off.

He followed Han Xin upstairs to his bedroom. His mind couldn’t help but imagine Han Xin pressing him on the bed and kissing him till he was out of breath.

Han Xin had no idea of his thoughts. He pushed his bedroom door open and walked in. He opened the bathroom door revealing a pristine space. "The bath towel is clean and you can use the things in here as you see fit... Take your time," he said, his voice softer now.

Xiang Yu nodded, stepping inside and closing the door behind him. He leaned against the cool tiles, trying to steady his racing thoughts. Damn, he felt like bait on a fishing line just waiting to be eaten. Shaking off his thoughts he took off his clothes.

The hot water cascaded down his sculpted body, steam filling the bathroom as he stood under the showerhead, his dark eyes closed in blissful relaxation. The droplets trailed down his muscular chest, tracing the contours of his abs and the intricate tattoos that snaked around his biceps, before disappearing down the drain. His breath was steady, but his mind was far from calm.

He couldn’t shake the memories he had shared with Han Xin. Usually, he tried to suppress these memories, but it was getting harder and harder the more time he spent with Han Xin. This was further exacerbated by the fact that he was in Han Xin’s space.
