Han Xin felt a peculiar tingle in his thumb as he washed his hands in the bathroom sink. The sensation was strange, almost electric, and it made him pause for a moment, staring at the water swirling down the drain.

He was about to speak for Xiang Yu and explain that the young man hadn’t meant to bite him on purpose when he heard footsteps approaching. Assuming it was Xiang Yu coming to apologize, he turned and left abruptly, leaving a bewildered Han Xin behind.
