Chapter 452: I won’t back down

Zeus stood tall, a formidable figure against the backdrop of stars. Its armour gleamed under the distant light, a stark contrast to the fierce red of Sirius’s mech, which hovered menacingly. Suddenly, the cockpit lit up with a transmission request from Sirius.

"What now," Han Xin muttered under his breath as he accepted the call. Sirius’s voice crackled through the speakers, sharp and taunting. "I never thought the imperial Lord of the Republic was a doormat."

Han Xin clenched his jaw, recognizing the bait. Sirius was still trying to plant seeds of doubt about Xiang Yu. It wouldn’t work. Silently, he steeled his resolve and opted for silence.

Sirius continued, his tone thick with malice. "From what I hear, he treated you like a slave." The words dripped with venom. "Made you take punishment for him? You couldn’t even walk for days? And here you are... dating him."

Han Xin felt anger flare inside him. He couldn’t stand anyone slandering Xiang Yu, not even his cousin. Sirius swung the red mech’s arm, a blade emerging like a flash of blood in the dark.
