Lian looked at Mei curiously. "Why do you think brother drank so much?"

"I don’t know," she sighed, recognizing the worry in their hearts. It made sense why they were concerned. Han Xin was notorious for being strict with himself, never overindulging in anything. Well, except, of course, when it came to Xiang Yu. That was the one vice that held him tight.

Xiang Yu placed Han Xin gently on the bed, supporting him as he settled down. Just as he was about to straighten up, Han Xin grasped his arm, pulling him down until he was straddled over him. "Baby, we can get married now," Han Xin slurred, a goofy grin appearing on his face.

Xiang Yu smiled down at him, amusement lighting his eyes. "Is that why you are drunk?" He pinched Han Xin’s cheek playfully.

With dazed, half-lidded eyes, Han Xin grinned back. He took Xiang Yu’s hand, tracing his fingers along it. "No," he admitted, his tone shifting. "I drank because I was sad."

Concern flickered across Xiang Yu’s features. He shifted off Han Xin and sat beside him on the bed. "Why is our Xin-ge sad?" he asked, gently cupping Han Xin’s face with both hands.

Han Xin placed his palm on the back of Xiang Yu’s hand, pressing a soft kiss to his fingers before nuzzling against his skin. "I am sad because my parents won’t see us get married."

Xiang Yu understood the sorrow weighing down his heart. The difference, however, was stark. While Han Xin’s parents had embraced him, his own had never acknowledged his existence. "I am pretty sure they are watching us, wherever they are," he said, his voice soothing.

Han Xin bit his lower lip, looking up with wide eyes, hope kindling within him. "Really?"

"Really," Xiang Yu assured him, wrapping his arms around Han Xin in a comforting embrace.

Han Xin sniffled, a fresh wave of emotion rushing through him. "I killed your father," he murmured, guilt lacing his words.

"You did good," Xiang Yu replied firmly, rubbing Han Xin’s back in gentle circles. "You did what you had to do."

Han Xin’s arms wrapped tightly around Xiang Yu, pulling him in for a long embrace, their hearts beating in sync. Han Xin nuzzled his neck, inhaling the familiar scent that felt like home, a blend of warmth and strength.

Suddenly, Han Xin pulled back slightly, mischief sparking in his eyes. His tongue flicked out, brushing against Xiang Yu’s skin, sending a jolt of warmth through him. Soft lips pressed against his, the kiss teasing and sweet.

"You wanted a hug so you could take advantage of me," Xiang Yu teased, his voice a soft chuckle.

With a playful grin, Han Xin replied, "You are so tasty... I can’t resist."

As if driven by some primal instinct, he trailed kisses down Xiang Yu’s body, his hands eager and demanding. The fabric that stood between them felt like an obstacle he could no longer tolerate. He pulled back, messy hair falling around his face, and leaned closer. "Baby, let me touch your chest."
