Standing outside the closed door, Xiang Yu felt an unexpected pang of hurt. He wore an expression that seemed lost, his brow furrowing in confusion.

Disheartened, Xiang Yu turned away from the door and walked back toward home. There he found Lian and Mei waiting for him, their expressions mixed with concern and curiosity.

Xiang Yu sighed as he slumped onto the couch, the weight of the encounter pressing heavily on his shoulders.

Lian stared at him, surprise etched on her face. "What did he say?"

Xiang Yu covered his eyes with the back of his hand, feigning nonchalance. "He kicked me out."

Lian and Mei sighed in unison, frustration evident in their expressions.

"Why does he have to act so stubborn?" Mei asked, her voice tinged with irritation.

Han Zhan stepped into Han Xin’s place, the door creaking slightly as he pushed it open. He was met with the sight of Han Xin sitting at the table, a stern expression etched onto his face as he stared intently at a map sprawled before him.

"What’s so urgent that you had to call me over?" Han Zhan asked, taking a seat beside his cousin.

Han Xin didn’t look up from the map. "Is there anywhere we didn’t search for water?" he replied, his voice steady but pressed with worry.

Han Zhan frowned, glancing at the map before meeting Han Xin’s gaze. "No... We searched everywhere. Apart from the dry mountains, the rest of the land is dead."

"Did we search thoroughly?" Han Xin pressed, still fixated on the map.

"Yes," Han Zhan replied, confusion threading through his words. "Why are you asking this?"

"Xiang Yu said there’s a water source around here," Han Xin said, finally lifting his eyes to meet his cousin’s.

Han Zhan stared at him, disbelief washing over his features. "You can’t possibly believe that."
