Mei shook her head, her eyes wide. "Not only displeased. He might kill someone."

Xiang Yu waited, the chiffon mask covering half his face fluttering with the wind. After ten long minutes, a sleek black sedan pulled up beside him, the window sliding down to reveal Xue San.

As he leaned closer, Xiang Yu caught the unsettling gaze of a short man who eyed him with unhidden lust. Disgust gnawed at him, yet he forced himself to maintain a timid, almost cowardly demeanour.

"Miss Ma, right?" Xue San asked, his voice smooth but laced with a predatory undertone. "Please, get in."

Xiang Yu took a deep breath and opened the door, sliding into the seat as far away from Xue San as possible. He could feel the man’s gaze lingering on him, a hungry curiosity that set his skin crawling.

The scent of his prey wafted in the air, intoxicating and sweet, driving Xue San’s interest into overdrive. He gripped the steering wheel, fighting his urges.

As the car started moving, Xiang Yu sat stiffly, urging himself to play the part. He had learned to act pitiful on the streets as a child, using it to garner sympathy and find food when his mother’s kicked him out of the brothel. Now, he used that same skill to lure this pervert to his death.

"Relax, darling. We are going to have a wonderful time," Xue San cooed, his intentions clear in the way he looked at Xiang Yu.

Xiang Yu clenched his fist in his sleeve a sneer at the corner of his lips. He couldn’t wait to bash his skull in and end him.

Drowing in that pleasurable scent, Xue San inhaled deeply. It danced in the small space, wrapping around him and igniting the fire in his pants.

He rubbed his palm on his pant leg, a nervous habit, and casually proposed, "How about you call me Young Master Xue?"

Xiang Yu’s lips twitched beneath the chiffon veil that clothed half his face. There was a hint of amusement in his voice as he replied, "But our time begins at the hotel."

For just a heartbeat, a shadow flickered in his beautiful eyes, something dark that made Xue San question his own perception. Was it there, or had he imagined it?

Xue San shrugged off the fleeting doubt. "Don’t you want to earn extra?" he asked, glancing at Xiang Yu but the person just shock their head no.

Xue San didn’t push any further. After all, the hotel was only three minutes away. He was looking forward to punishing her for daring to refuse him.
