"Let’s head back in a moment. I am so hungry," Xiang Yu said casually, moving toward the bathroom to wash his hands.

Han Xin who had been looking around opened a drawer and found something interesting. He pulled out an unopened blue bottle and a pack of pink-wrapped condoms, his expression unreadable.

Just then Xiang Yu came out and found him rummaging through the drawers. "What are you looking for?" Xiang Yu asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing," Han Xin replied quickly, hiding the objects.

Xiang Yu took Xue San’s device, crafting a fake suicide note in the man’s style. He placed the device down with a satisfied nod. "Let’s go before they come up," he urged.

"Okay," Han Xin responded, though he felt a strange calmness wash over him.

Xiang Yu noticed the unsettling tranquillity in Han Xin’s demeanour, but he brushed it aside. They left the grim scene behind, two figures disappearing into the night, leaving no trace.

Below, a small crowd gathered, gasping at the sight of the naked man splattered on the pavement. The rain poured steadily, washing away the blood and the remnants of a violent act, but the echoes of that night would linger long after.

Xiang Yu stepped into the hotel room, the soft glow illuminating his pink and blue Hanfu. His hair was damp, clinging to his forehead, and the fabric of his dress felt slightly heavy with moisture, but it wasn’t unbearable. Xiang Yu licked his lips, momentarily drawing Han Xin’s attention. "This was the only way," he replied, his own heartbeat quickening. Han Xin’s thumb rubbed over Xiang Yu’s chin, surprisingly tender despite the tension between them.

"You could have told me," Han Xin said quietly, the resolve in his voice softening.

"I knew you would say no," Xiang Yu admitted, placing a hand on Han Xin’s waist, pulling him closer. Han Xin’s jaw tightened, his eyes locked onto Xiang Yu’s.

Seeing the conflict within Han Xin, Xiang Yu felt a surge of determination. He curled his fingers around Han Xin’s t-shirt, leaning in closer. "Xin-ge, I was wrong," he whispered, his gaze slowly trailing down to Han Xin’s lips.
