Xiang Yu’s expression hardened. He wiped the corner of his lips with a napkin before saying, "The plan is to ruin Peng Xiu’s plans. We have to prevent her from marrying Han Xin and taking over the two countries. Any ideas?"

The twins’ eyes gleamed with hatred at the very mention of that wicked witch’s name. Their shared desire for revenge was palpable. They wanted to make her pay for everything she had done to them. Tear her piece to piece until nothing was left. "Let’s kill her," said Mei through gritted teeth.

"And skin her, then stuff her skin with fluff like a doll," chimed Lian before snapping her chopsticks into pieces in rage.

Xiang Yu couldn’t even blame them. If it were up to him, he would drag her to the demon realm and let them torture her to their heart’s content. "We can’t kill her... or skin her," he clarified, just in case Lian thought skinning and killing weren’t the same thing. He was right. She kept the psychotic smile on her face, which only drooped after he said there would be no skinning.

"At least not yet," he continued to say his voice steady. "You will get your revenge a hundredfold in the future. But for now, eat more." He placed a piece of fish into each of their bowls, his gaze softening as he watched them eat angrily.

With a deep sigh, he leaned back in his chair, his eyes narrowing thoughtfully. "So, any ideas?"

The twins exchanged excited glances. They felt like this was their moment to shine. "In romantic stories, there is always a love rival," Lian suggested, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Mei nodded eagerly. "Yes! We need to find a beautiful woman to lure Han Xin away from that wicked witch and Tada! Problem solved."

Xiang Yu sighed, shaking his head. Where were they supposed to find this stunning beauty that could sweep an annoying immortal off his feet? Peng Xiu seemed to be his type. Where in this world was another Peng Xiu? "That would be difficult. Where would we find such a woman, and besides, would she be interested in him?"

He lowered his head and took a bite of his food, only to look up and find the twins staring at him intently. His brow furrowed wondering why they were looking at him. It didn’t take him long to realise exactly what they were thinking. Just because his first kiss was robbed by that ugly bastard it didn’t mean he would happily sacrifice himself.

"I am not a woman," he stated firmly.

"So?" the twins asked simultaneously, their expressions innocent yet determined. They were very determined to see him take responsibility.

Xiang Yu was a little exasperated, "I don’t like men."

"Neither do you like wom-," whispered Lian under her breath before shredded potatoes were shoved in her mouth shutting her up. Mei laughed nervously before saying,
