Elliot was unaware of what Sheena did at the Lawson estate yesterday.

As he ignited the engine, he asked, "Why the sudden urge to return to Mountville?"

If she's not Sheila, that's all she's accountable for. But if she is, then she'll have to face the consequences according to the Lawson family's rules."

As she spoke, the more serious she became.

She stared at the mansion at the top of Mountville, still illuminated by lights.

"Once she's in Mountville, she won't have Paulo's backing to rely on anymore."

Sheena approached quietly.

Not wanting to alert the entire Lawson family, she chose to have Elliot park the luxury car halfway up the mountainside. Then, they walked up the path.

After about ten minutes, Sheena and Elliot arrived at Albert's old mansion, circling around the back door to head toward the altar room.

As they approached, Corey's recitation became clearer.

His voice, raspy due to his sore throat, struggled through the scriptures, sounding rough and strained. However, he read slowly and sounded calm.

Sheena peered through the window crack, observing the scene inside the altar room.

Corey knelt on the cold marble floor without a cushion, with a stack of scriptures in front of him, diligently reading from one book.

She just could not get past that hurdle.

Elliot did not want to see her troubled by this matter.

The two of them retreated to the shadows behind the altar room.

Sheena pressed close to Elliot's ear, whispering again, "Keep an eye on things inside. I'll go find Uncle George."

Elliot did not want to disrupt her plan, so he obediently nodded.
