An hour later, Lionel called Elliot.

Elliot was sitting by Santiago's bedside, watching over his slumber. He glanced at the screen displaying the caller ID and quietly left the room, heading to the end of the hallway before answering the call.

Lionel informed him, "Elliot, I've caught Stanley. He sneaked out of the Jenkins estate and headed to a bar to hide out. Luckily, I caught up with him quickly. He can't escape now."

"Good," Elliot replied. "I'll be waiting in the altar room. Bring him over. I want to chat with him."

Mountville.

Sheena anxiously glanced at the time.

Being the wealthiest woman in Froania and having numerous business contacts since becoming CEO of the Lawson Group, she could have asked for help from someone else.

However, she wanted to use this opportunity to test Corey's loyalty.

She could not understand why he was reluctant to involve himself in the matter between her and Sheila.

It was ironic since the initial conflict stemmed from the supporters behind Sheila, and Corey was one of them.

Hence, how could he possibly distance himself from it?

As Sheena pondered, she continued to check the time, realizing it was almost boarding time.

She decided to go upstairs and speak with Corey herself.

Just as she rose from the sofa, Corey carefully descended the stairs, leaning on the railing and his knees.

Their eyes met from a distance, and Barbara hurried over to assist Corey.

Corey's gaze remained fixed on Sheena as he spoke in a hoarse voice, "I had someone check. Anne and Paulo were indeed on tonight's last flight to Ouna. I've arranged to have their passports withheld, so they won't be able to leave anytime soon."

"Send Paulo's phone number to my phone. Thanks," she responded sincerely before leaving the mansion and stepping into the moonlight.

Hannah followed her, leaving Corey's mansion together.

On the way, Hannah asked with some unease, "Sheena, will Mr. Noah be returning to Mountville tonight?"

Still thinking about Corey's actions, Sheena responded casually, "He's at Old Man Jenkins's. I don't think he'll be coming back tonight."

Hannah lowered her head, feeling conflicted. "Does that mean I'll have to spend the night alone at his place?"

Suddenly snapping back to reality, Sheena realized it was not ideal for a guest to be left alone on her first day here, especially since Hannah was her future sister-in-law.

Moreover, with Sheena's bipolar disorder, E&S Haven could not accommodate guests overnight. If she had an episode, the fights would be too loud, shocking anyone who heard it.

After a while, she replied firmly, "Don't worry. I'll call Noah immediately and ask him to come back tonight!"
