Only two days at most?

Peter was terrified.

It was hard to imagine his beloved son enduring mistreatment in another cell.

"Elliot, he's your own cousin. How could you be so heartless? You're nothing but a demon!"

Elliot left the cell as Peter's angry curses echoed behind him. Even so, he remained silent and ignored the noise, his expression dark and brooding as he walked down the hallway.

Instead of heading straight to his office, Elliot made his way to the end of the corridor, where the cell housing Stanley and the others was located.

An officer moved to unlock the door, but Elliot stopped him.

"No need. I don't intend to go in."

He stood by the door, peering through the iron bars to observe the situation inside.

The inmates, including Jude, were all sitting against the wall, resting or sleeping.

Elliot scanned the room silently, opting not to awaken them.

Quietly, he asked the guard, "Where's Stanley?"

The officer glanced inside and replied, "I believe he was shunned by the others and went to sleep in the small restroom inside. He's been there since last night."

Stanley had always been proud, describing himself as an elegant gentleman.

He loved cleanliness the most, yet he was sleeping in a dirty restroom without making any complaint.

It seemed that the protection he received from the Jenkins family had shielded him from experiencing any hardship, until now.

"Mr. Jenkins, care for a smoke?" The officer offered a fancy cigarette box from his pocket.

Elliot did not even spare it a glance, let alone accept the offer.

Instead, he said, "Keep a close eye on this cell. No fatalities or serious injuries are allowed. I'll come back tomorrow."

"Noah, you seem to be in a great mood. Just look at the stuff you bought! You didn't let Hannah pay, did you?" Sheena teased.

Noah maintained his cool demeanor but spoke calmly, "Nana, do I seem like the stingy type to you?"

Sheena chuckled. "I was worried you might scare Hannah away by being a little slow when it comes to dating."

Hannah joined in the laughter. "He paid for everything. I offered to pay, but he took my bag and wouldn't let me pay."

Impressed, Sheena gave Noah a thumbs-up and praised, "Noah, good job."

She retrieved an exquisite tea set from the shelf, intending to brew a pot of tea for Hannah and Noah herself.

However, Noah took the heavy tea set from her hands and offered, "Let me handle this. I don't think you've tried much of the tea I made, Nana."

Sheena did not argue and let him take over the task.

As Noah quietly boiled water and brewed the tea, Sheena and Hannah chatted.
