Sheena intended to give Mavis and Nathaniel a chance to explain things, but Mavis had already walked away.

"Who told you that? How did that matter reach you?"

"You must be quite busy. What's the real reason for your call? I don't like beating around the bush. Just tell me directly," Sheena said.

Nathaniel chuckled softly. "You really are perceptive, Nana. I'm currently traveling and was wondering if I could swing by your place while I'm around."

Sheena was at a loss by his remark.

If Mavis had heard that, she would likely have been anxious.

Sheena did not respond immediately, instead commenting, "You seem to have time on your hands despite claiming you're busy."

"I'm the one who's at fault. She left because she was angry. I've been looking for her for a long time without any leads. If she contacts you, can you please ask her to get in touch with me?"
