Nathaniel set Callum back down on the carpet and let him play with the ball.

With the phone on speaker, the voice on the other end reported, "Ms. Lawson went to Vraeyce, far from Froania. She should've already landed by now."

Vraeyce?

Nathaniel frowned.

"That country is remote and not particularly developed. What could she possibly be doing there?"

"I'm not sure, Mr. Nicholls. Besides Ms. Lawson's flight information, I can't track her activities in Vraeyce."

"Alright, thank you."

He hung up, still puzzled over Sheena's sudden departure.

According to their agenda, Sheena was supposed to come to the Nicholls Group to discuss the project.

If she had an emergency, she should have informed him in advance.

Instead, she had left without a word, heading to a remote, undeveloped country like Vraeyce.

Moreover, as far as he knew, the Lawson Group had no business dealings there.

The more Nathaniel thought about it, the stranger it seemed.

He picked up the internal phone line to contact Tommy.

"Tommy, come in."

In less than a minute, Tommy knocked and entered the office.

"Mr. Nicholls, is there something you need?"

Nathaniel signed a document and handed Tommy a travel authorization form.

"I need you to go on a business trip to Vraeyce. Once you get there, find a way to contact Sheena as soon as possible."

Though Tommy did not understand the urgency, he accepted the form without question.

"When do you need me to go?"

"Now."

"Now?" Tommy was shocked.

Elliot turned at the sound of his name and was surprised to see Nathaniel.

"What are you doing here with the baby?"

"The Nicholls Group just signed an international contract. I might need to travel abroad. I was hoping to leave Callum at E&S Haven and ask Nana to watch him for a couple of days."

Elliot looked at the little one in Nathaniel's arms, feeling a little conflicted.

If Sheena had been in Svelton, she would have been more than willing to help. That way, she could video chat with Mavis and let her see Callum more often.

However, Sheena was away…

Nathaniel sensed something was wrong in Elliot's silence.

"Elliot, is there an issue with leaving Callum with you?"

"It's not that," Elliot said. "Nana is out of town on business and won't be back for a few days, so she can't take care of him. How about leaving him with Madam Nicholls? She's very fond of this little great-grandson of hers. It might be more convenient that way."

Nathaniel shook his head. "Grandma is getting older and has trouble moving around. Callum is quite a handful. I'm worried it might be too much for her."

"Then just take him with you," Elliot suggested. "You're already bringing him to the office, so taking him on a business trip should be no different."
