He wiped his hands leisurely before reminding Mildred, "Don't let him eat too many, Grandma. No more than eight."

Callum was annoyed and grumbled, "When I grow up, I'm going to eat a whole plate of shrimp myself!"

Mildred chuckled. "Then you'd better eat plenty now to grow up fast and strong."

Callum nodded, his smile brightening his face. "Grandma Mildred's shrimp tastes the best! It's so yummy!"

Mildred noticed the tension between the two, and she glanced at Nathaniel.

Later that night, Nathaniel was in his study, reviewing some documents from the hospital.
