Inside, Jennifer cried profusely, full of regret.

“This drug has only been tested on animals so far. Jennifer is a fugitive, and she’s destined for a hellish life even if she’s returned to prison. It’s better to use her for experimentation, ensuring a fitting demise.” 

Sheena stared at him in disbelief. In their seven years apart, Nathaniel seemed to have become far more ruthless and cunning than she could have imagined.
