Caesar, fearing his father’s wrath, shrunk his shoulders and cautiously suggested, “But I don’t think Ms. Lawson likes Charles. When she looked at me just now she was forced.”

As soon as Kelly laid eyes on Sheena, she was delighted, holding her hand and asking numerous questions about Froania enthusiastically.

Kelly, at the age of forty–five, had remarkably well–maintained skin, showing hardly any signs of aging on her face. If Sheena had not known in advance that Kelly was the mother of two adult sons, she might have thought Kelly was only in her late twenties.
