John stepped forward, forcefully pulling Sheila up to her knees. 

Despite her petite and wounded frame, she remained resilient, refusing to collapse completely.

I know he loved me as his daughter, but that love pales in comparison to his love for you. He refused to bring me into the Lawson family all these years, forcing me to live as his illegitimate child in secret. Didn’t he deserve to die?”
