Cecilia shook her head. “Not yet. His condition is still unstable. When he gets a bit better, I'll take you and Jon to see him.”

Elliot nodded obediently, “Okay. You can go. Ms. Hills and Ms. Campbell are at home. I'll be good.”

“Okay.”

Hearing the sweet words from her little one, Cecilia felt a sense of comfort. She was grateful to have two children so understanding at such a young age.

After comforting Elliot, Cecilia asked the driver to take her to the manor.

As soon as she arrived, she saw the doctor and nurse forcibly injecting Nathaniel with something.

“What are you giving him?” Cecilia immediately stepped forward.

“It's just a sedative,” the butler answered coldly from the side. “Mr. Nathaniel just went crazy again and started hitting people.”

Cecilia frowned, “Didn't I tell you? If he has an episode, call me, and I'll come right away.”

The butler pretended to look helplessly at her.

“That's not an option. When Mr. Nathaniel is violent, he doesn't care about anything. If we don't restrain him quickly, someone could get seriously hurt.”

With that, the butler continued directing the others to carry the unconscious Nathaniel back to his room.

Since the butler was under Nicholas' command, Cecilia had no control over him.

She could only follow closely and stay by Nathaniel's side, afraid to leave again.

Once everyone else left, Cecilia checked Nathaniel's body and found more new injuries.

The butler's promises were all for show—he hadn't followed through at all.

“You've probably never suffered like this before,” Cecilia murmured softly as she gently treated his wounds from the medical kit she brought.

Unfortunately, Nathaniel couldn't respond to her now.

At first, Cecilia had thought that if she stayed here to take care of Nathaniel, he wouldn't get hurt.

After George found out, he beat Zachary, scolding him for recklessly performing a major brain surgery on Nathaniel without the Rainsworth family's knowledge.

Listening to Zachary's urgent tone, Cecilia glanced at the unconscious Nathaniel and around the room.

“Vivian, I'm really busy right now. I don't have time to chat. I'll call you when I get the chance.”

With that, Cecilia hung up.

There were surveillance cameras here, and she couldn't say too much to Zachary.

If what Zachary said about Nicholas being heartless was true, then she needed to be even more cautious while staying at the manor.

Zachary stared at the disconnected phone and was about to call back, but Vivian, being more perceptive, stopped him. “Don't call her again. Ceci probably can't talk right now.”

After she said that, Zachary recalled Cecilia's evasive answer and realized she was right.

“We'll wait for her to call us back,” Zachary said dejectedly.
