“Didn’t I tell you before, Ceci? Think of this money as my way of showing gratitude. Without the Smith family, I wouldn’t have been able to see you again, so there’s no need to repay me.” Queenie couldn’t help but grasp Cecilia’s hand. “Having you here with me today makes me so happy.
