Eloise had no idea what Cecilia was planning. When she got home, she shared what she believed was good news with Tristian and Rebecca.

Tristian finally seemed relieved. “You should work on building a good relationship with Cecilia. She's not who she used to be. From now on, both our families might have to rely on her.”

One after another, relatives chimed in, all eager to shower her with compliments and mention her family ties.
