Elliot reluctantly headed upstairs. “Sc*mbag daddy, what’s the matter?” 

“Let me check your homework.” Nathaniel sternly extended his hand toward him. “Where are the two papers I gave you before we went to Rainsworth Manor?” 

At that moment, Elliot truly wished he could find a hole to crawl into as he was terrified of being hit. 

“Um, I forgot to bring it back,” he explained, somewhat stuttering. 

Surprisingly, Nathaniel didn’t get angry. “In this case, follow me to the study.” 

“Oh, okay.” Elliot cautiously followed Nathaniel into the study. 

Nathaniel immediately printed out two more sets of test papers for him. “Do it now. Since you’ve done it before at Rainsworth Manor, it should only take you half an hour to redo it.”
