I have the feeling that they are in cahoots. They’re planning to turn against you. If you decide to continue running for president, I’m afraid…”

“Are you worried that I’ll be embarrassed if no one elects me?” asked Cecilia. 

Helen nodded. 

Realizing that Helen had her best interests at heart, Cecilia felt grateful. 

“Don’t worry. I’m not afraid of being embarrassed. In fact, it would be more embarrassing if I were to drop out of the race. For the sake of my son, I must seize every opportunity.”
