Josephine thought he was ridiculous.

Before Zayn could explain, a man's voice sounded behind him.

Zayn turned around slowly and glared angrily, only to see Ethan and George standing right in front of him.

The two men were no strangers to him.

One of them kept provoking him in his own home, hinting at Ethan's interest in Josephine to infuriate him.

The other one had appeared next to Josephine multiple times, making no attempt to hide his ambitions. He was like a leech stuck on her body.

He was already filled with rage. When he saw the two men, it felt like a volcano erupting.

Back then, Josephine pushed Nadine to the ground and was about to hit her. Zayn didn't want them to fight, so he nudged Josephine.

Zayn's face turned pale as he looked at Josephine. "Did you hit your head then?"

Josephine had no intention of bringing this up, nor was she interested in his explanation.

She reminded him coldly, "Let go of me."

Noticing her attitude, Zayn understood instantly. He panicked. "Josephine, if I hurt you, I'm sorry. I didn't know. I really didn't know…"

"Mr. Forbes, stop giving excuses. The reason you didn't know was because your attention was on your mistress."

George spoke once again, challenging Zayn's boundaries.

"Your mistress was arguing with Ms. Dunn, but you chose to help the mistress instead. After that, you only worried about comforting your mistress and didn't care about Ms. Dunn one bit. It's no surprise you didn't know anything."
