Yvan stopped in his tracks. He snorted disdainfully and said, "Who said I was helping her? I just did it out of a sense of justice because I was tired of seeing you colluding with Dad to bully a young woman."

Zayn looked upset. "Don't slander me. It's been some time since Dad took my account.

"He was the one who did everything. I had nothing to do with it."

"Forget it. You've already used this lie on Josephine." Yvan scoffed

Zayn turned his back to Yvan with a look of disdain on his face.

"Knowing how crafty you are, it'd be a piece of cake for you to regain ownership of the account. Wasn't it because you saw how beneficial it would be to you that you allowed Dad to do those things?

"If it was Josephine who took the account away, you'd have already lost your mind over it. And I wouldn't even have been a part of this."

Then, Yvan turned his head toward Zayn.

"You don't deserve her. Just let her go as soon as you can."

After Yvan was done speaking, he strode out of the ward.

Zayn sat up in his bed. His face was extremely sullen.

He hadn't known that Yvan was acquainted with Josephine!
