A cold light flickered in Ethan's eyes as he reminded her, "Zayn is a sweet talker. He must have come prepared. Don't fall for his tricks."

"Him? Come prepared? You don't know him. He's awfully confident and impulsive. He must've come over on a whim. He wouldn't have prepared anything."

Josephine didn't think much of it. When they went downstairs, Zayn was no longer in the living room.

"Where is he?"

Gloria quickly stepped forward. "Mr. Forbes said that he's going to the airport to return to Crestwood. Before leaving, he told me to pass a message."

Josephine nodded, hinting at her to continue.

"Well, Mr. Forbes said that he had taught Nadine a lesson, so you should feel better and not take any more action.

"Also, if you need money, you can ask him. He's not as petty as you, so he won't hold grudges over what happened."

Gloria was stuttering when she said that. It was obvious that she thought some words in his message weren't that appropriate.

But for Zayn, it was totally normal.

Josephine scoffed.

Whether she taught Nadine a lesson or not had nothing to do with him. The only thing that mattered was whether Nadine still dared to cause trouble.

In reality, it was unlikely for Nadine to let her go that easily.

"Do you know what that means? You only exist because of me! If you can't even take care of me, what's the point of your existence?"

Nadine stomped her feet angrily, and she was sobbing.

"This is my first major film. It's the most important turning point of my career. How could you just sit back and do nothing?"

Zayn chuckled. "It's not that big of a deal. Don't be dramatic. Don't worry, you're not that famous.

"The netizens will forget about you soon. Once the movie airs, they will have forgotten about this. Let's just lay low for the moment."
