Ethan sighed. "If you've trained professionally, you could've told me that. Like you said, I would've accepted the loss.

"Why did you hide it, letting me act all confident in front of you, like a clown? I even thought I was being nice by going easy on you."

He frowned sadly. "I must've looked like an idiot. Are you happy now?"

Josephine was at a loss. She didn't know what to say.
