Josephine forefully shook off Zan’s hand, her expression cold and indifferent. “Please keep your distance. Your family member is still here, and I don’t want to give anyone mote to gossip abour ” 

Zayn’s Face darked. “Lalready told you, I was just helping her out of a tough spot 

Ashe spoke, the dipping–wrt Nadine climbed out of the pool behind him, shivering slightly as she let out a loud sneeze 

The sound immediately made Zamtense with concem. He shrugged off his suit jacket without hesitation and draped it over her shoulders, 

“Was the watet cold? Why would you just jump in like that if it was freezing? 

Nadine sniffled pitifully, her voice was soft and weak. “I just didn’t want to miss the chance to get closer to Arthur.” 

“What’s so great about getting close to him? He’s nothing but a foreign playboy! Don’t worry, I’ll make sure we hire a cinematographer for your new movie who’s just as good, if not better, than Arthur,” Zamsaid, his tone laced with disdain 

Hearing This, Nadine pressed her lipsinto a smile. She glanced provocatively at Josephine, 

Josephine, however, couldn’t be bothered to respond. 

Her phone chimed with a notification. Thinking it might be Simon waiting for her, Josephine quickly picked it up to check 

Your husband cares about 

much right in front of you. That most hurt, huh? I’m sorry, Josephine. I didn’t mean for him to completely forget about you and

Nadine’s face instantly went pale. Zayn noticed her sudden change in expression and immediately grew conceded. “What’s wrong? Are you feeling well?” 

For a brief second, Nadine’s face twisted with anger, but as soon as she met Zayn’s worried gaze, she quickly smoothed her expression into something delicate and pitiable. 

“I’m feeling a little dizzy, i can barely stand,” she murmured. 

Zayn frowned, his concem deepening, without hesitation, he wrapped an arm around her, supporting her against his chest. At the same time, he pulled out his phone and made a quick call. 

*shawn, bring over some cold and flu prevention medicine, just in case,” he said curtly before ending the call. 

He looked down at Nadine with gentle concem “Let’s get you changed into some dry clothes first.” 

He began to walk away with her but stopped after just two steps. Glancing back at Josephine, his expression shifted uneasily, betraying a flicker of guilt, “Josephine, I’m just taking her to find some dry clothes so she doesn’t get sick. I’ll be back soon to find you. Walt here for me,” he said, his voice almost awkward. Without waiting for her responir, he turned and walked away. 

Josephine stood rooted to the spot. As the sound of his footsteps faded into the distance, a sharp, involuntary ache rose in her chest. 

“Want to hand me the camera? Of course, if you like it, I could gift it to you,” Arthur said lightly. 

Startled, Josephine snapped back to reality and glanced up at him. A tear slipped from her eye, falling perfectly onto Arthur’s thumb as he extended his hand.
