Ethan said he needed to handle some business in Bay City first.

That worked out perfectly since I wanted to meet with my lawyer.

So our first stop back was Bay City.

Unlike the pouring rain when we left, the sun shone brilliantly when we landed.

Ethan kept a low profile.

I looked at his message, nearly laughing from frustration.

I took a taxi back to the hotel.
