Waldo frowned slightly and looked at Priscilla. “With your skills, you’re still not qualified to join my team.”

When he liked her, everything about her was wonderful. When he didn’t, her flaws stood out clearly. Priscilla bit her lip.

Waldo turned his gaze away. Even her slight pout now felt irritating.

But Priscilla didn’t throw a fit. After biting her lip for a moment, she said, “Waldo, I know my riding and archery aren’t even as good as Hughie’s, let alone capable of replacing Garbisch. But in the desert, there’s someone else truly deserving. If you see her, I promise, you’ll be amazed.”

Three days remained until the Autumn Hunt.

Waldo wasn’t sure what came over him, but he had somehow agreed to give Priscilla one more chance.

But today, that chance went to another girl. A girl named Yuna Mcbride.

When Hughie led the girl into the room, Waldo was already growing impatient, ready to leave.
