Kason was full of confidence. Sierra’s heart sank; she didn’t think Kason was being arrogant.

Seeing her silence, Kason continued to persuade, “Sierra, don’t think too much. Leave these issues to me. Just focus on your research. You can trust that I will ensure your safety. What do you say? Want to join?”

Sierra didn’t respond directly, only asking. “What’s the main focus of the research here! If I join, can I choose what I want to research, or will you assign me tasks?”

“I’ll assign tasks to others, but you can continue with your current research direction. You’ve developed a new concept. Besides the drug you’ve already developed, I believe you can create even more.”

It was all about making money, and he certainly wouldn’t turn her away.
