Alaric was caught off guard when a reporter asked if Lemira was indeed that popular streamer. Lately, he'd been drowning his sorrows in bourbon, trying to numb himself.

If it hadn't been for this event, he probably wouldn't have snapped out of it yet.

He'd heard that SweetLemon, the mysterious streamer, would be attending the event. Alaric wanted to see for himself who this streamer really was. Was it really Lemira?

Evelina jumped in before anyone else could speak. "You know, we've been wondering about that ourselves," she said, her voice dripping with a mix of curiosity and skepticism. "After all, that streamer has always kept their identity hidden. We can't be too sure."

"But there's a rumor going around that the streamer's voice is identical to Ms. Langston's. Is that true?"

Evelina's face flushed a shade darker. "That may be, but there are plenty of people in the world who sound alike. It doesn't really prove anything."

"So, Ms. Sterling, you're saying you don't believe SweetLemon is Ms. Langston?"

"That's what I believe. I mean, if she were that talented, I doubt she'd join PixelStage. If Lemira were to sign with anyone, it would be VibeCast, just like me."

Evelina glanced at Alaric, seeking his agreement. "Alaric, you think I'm right, don't you?"

Alaric looked uncomfortable, unable to respond. If Lemira was indeed SweetLemon, would she have signed with his company? Before, he would have been sure. But now, he wasn't so certain.

Lemira, who had been silent till then, turned and walked towards the check-in desk.

Jessica sounded indignant. "Why should Evelina guilt-trip you? It's your choice which group you sign with."

"I won't let them bully me," Lemira replied firmly.

"That's Lemira? I heard about her twelve-hit combo. That's a move right out of King's playbook. I can't believe she's so young."

Reporters swarmed Lemira. "Ms. Langston, how did you master the twelve-hit combo? What's your relationship with King?"

Lemira answered calmly, "I'm a fan of King. The twelve-hit combo was just a fluke."

Seeing Lemira surrounded by reporters filled Evelina with jealousy.
