Lemira paused, her voice polite yet distant, "Lucian, Caspian, Alaric."

If she didn't call out to them, they'd probably accuse her of sulking and being rude again. She didn't have the energy to argue over such trivialities and waste time.

Alaric raised an eyebrow, "How did today's test go? You claim to be focusing on your studies instead of joining the team. I'm curious to see just how well you can do!"

Lemira didn't take Alaric's jibe to heart. Whatever she did, her brothers never seemed impressed.

She pursed her lips, "I'll do my best."

Her best to improve her grades, her best to get into Orvin University and get away from them.

Caspian scoffed, "Lemira was never cut out for academics. She didn't do too well in her freshman and sophomore years in senior high school either. Crashing at the last minute just looks like she’s making efforts. She's still going to rank behind Eve in the end anyway!"

Evelina chimed in with a smile, "Caspian, don't be so harsh. Lemmy has been working hard lately, even the teachers have praised her. "

Lemira clenched her backpack, anger sweeping through her chest.
