"Right away."

Orion hung up the phone, "About the house goods, I'll have someone deliver them later. No need for you to go out and pick them."

"You're not going now? Who was that on the phone? Something urgent?"

Lemira guessed blindly if it might be that girl.

Orion hesitated for a moment, "Something came up. I gotta go."

"Okay."

Watching Orion leave, Lemira felt like she was on an emotional roller coaster.

Soon after, there was a knock on the door, "Ms. Langston, we're from the home goods company, ready to deliver your order. Is that convenient?"

Lemira was puzzled, "I didn't order these."

"It was Mr. Everhart who placed the order."

Lemira hadn't expected Orion to actually arrange for the delivery of home goods; she thought he was just speaking off the cuff.

She tried to call Orion, but no one answered. She looked at the delivery personnel standing outside, "Bring them in then."

She decided she would pay Orion back later.

Lemira got out of the cab and walked into the campus, ready to start her new chapter.

She went to the registration desk, pulling out her offer of admission along with the necessary documents.
