Asher, cool as a cucumber, retorted, "Lemira, claiming we plagiarized your work is downright laughable. With the talent pool at our firm, why would we need to steal from a small fry like yours?"

After Lemira's retort, her team leader chimed in, visibly upset, "Exactly, we poured our heart and soul into it."

Asher just smirked, "Seeing our top-notch presentation, you must've felt compelled to slander us, huh?"

Lemira scoffed, "As if I need to."

"Confident, aren't you? Got any proof?"

The team leader spoke up, "Our work is the proof."

"That just proves you copied us! Right?"

Asher stood tall, looking down on Lemira, "Don't embarrass yourself. If you want to win, do it with real talent, not these cheap tricks."

Lemira clenched her teeth, "Typical, playing dirty in the business game."

Seeing Lemira's reaction, Asher's mood lifted considerably.

"It's obvious, Lemira must have a thing with their CEO, trying to climb the social ladder by leaking our ideas."

The boss frowned, "Lemira's not like that."

"Or she must've accidentally spilled the beans while with him!"

Lemira turned to her gossip-loving colleague, icy, "Watch your mouth. I have nothing to do with him!"

"Then how do you explain our work showing up in their presentation!"

Lemira glared at Evelina and Alaric, "You two, quite the players!"

"Good, that's what I thought. So, Lemira, about your slander, expect a legal notice from us!"

Asher was determined to make Lemira yield today!

She turned to the official, "Sir, you believe me now, right?"
