"Right, but did you forget? I compensated Evelina with it, as a peace offering."

Asher was momentarily stuck, as if realizing there was indeed such an incident.

He opened his mouth, wanting to counter Lemira's statement.

But upon reflecting on the years gone by, aside from that golden tiara, he couldn't recall buying Lemira any other significant gifts.
