"Then why did she ask that question?"

"That's none of your business, Matt."

Matt, arms akimbo, shot back, "Hey, bro, you're the one begging me to play bodyguard for your wife. Better check that attitude, or I might just walk off this gig!"

Orion felt a twitch at his temple and in one swift move, had Matt pinned down on the bed.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch! Bro, you trying to commit fratricide or what? I'm telling Grandma you hit me!"

Orion's voice was eerily calm, "Who was it that needed to watch their attitude?"

"That would be you. You're the one asking for favors, hmph!"

Matt felt emboldened, thinking he could finally get one over his brother with this leverage.

Orion simply dragged Matt out of the bed by his feet and out of the bedroom.

"We're gonna chat in the gym," he said, dragging him along.

Matt, unable to get up, screamed for his life, "Help, Mom, save me! I'm gonna die; my bro's gonna beat me up!"

Mrs. Amanda, overhearing this, just turned her head towards the ceiling, "I think I forgot to put on my face mask."

Thus, Matt was dragged into the gym, followed by screams that soon filled the air. But the household staff were used to these antics and paid no mind.

Not long after, Matt emerged, shuffling along with a black eye and holding his backside, while Grandma and Mrs. Amanda were seated on the couch.

Sobbing, Matt complained, "Grandma, he hit me!"

Grandma glanced at Orion, "Why are you hitting him again? No more of that."

Orion coolly replied, "Just checking if his skills have gotten rusty."

"You were just looking for an excuse to hit me!"

Matt then turned to Mrs. Amanda, "Mom, you saw everything and did nothing?"

"I'm getting these for our team members, as gifts. They've been making good progress lately."

Michel sighed, "Wish you were on my team."

"It's a matter of ambition," Lemira replied, content with her role as captain of the Orvin University Team, fulfilling a dream she had harbored since her previous life.

Michel hesitated before mentioning, "I heard about the Langston family troubles. You okay?"

"I'm fine. The Langstons brought their misfortunes upon themselves."

"A fitting end indeed. Lemira, you're becoming quite the renegade."

At that moment, Lemira noticed two familiar faces approaching. Evelina and Caspian had arrived.

She hadn't expected Caspian to return so soon.

With a stern face, Caspian declared, "Lemira, now that I'm back, it's time for a proper lesson."
