Lemira coughed, “No need for a doctor.”

“Ms. Lemira, this is no time for jokes.”

Hogan finally breathed a sigh of relief, “The boss didn’t want to keep you here against your will, he just wanted you to stay a bit longer.”

Hogan quickly tried to mediate, “Boss, Mrs. Caspian Langston’s people are guarding outside. You should let Ms. Lemira go back herself. Forcing her to stay will only backfire.”
