After finishing her morning classes, Lemira headed to the esports team's headquarters to check on everyone's training progress.

However, as soon as she arrived outside the facility, she was instantly mobbed by Caspian's fans.

"Lemira, why are you slandering him by claiming he abused you?"

"Lemira, weren't you satisfied with ruining Alaric's life? Now you're after Caspian too?"

"Do you have any idea how much effort Caspian has put into getting where he is today? Destroying him is like killing him!"

Lemira hadn't expected such a horde of zealous fans to suddenly appear.

"Let's be rational, folks. Don't gang up on our movie star's sister."

Caspian's agent burst through the crowd, addressing the fans, "Caspian has said it was all a misunderstanding, and he doesn't blame Lemira. After all, they're blood thicker than water. Please, don't disrupt Lemira's life."

Hearing the agent's words, Lemira's eyes flashed with scorn.

So, it was all just a staged drama.

Lemira looked at the agent and sneered, "You really think you can cover up the truth this way?"

The agent approached Lemira, speaking in a subdued tone, "Ms. Langston, I don't know what truth you're referring to, but Caspian's still in the hospital. Yet, he's worried about you facing backlash from fans and specifically asked me to protect you here at school."

The fans started to get agitated.

"Lemira, do you have no conscience? He’s so concerned about you, yet here you are, falsely accusing him of violence."

"How could there be such a venomous sister like you, Lemira?"

The agent, seeing the angry fans, had a glint of triumph in his eyes.

He whispered to Lemira, "Ms. Langston, I'd advise you to be sensible, lest you end up hurting yourself."

"The ones who should be sensible are you guys. If you're not at fault, why rush to these underhanded tactics? Worried about a police statement after their investigation?"

"That's impossible. Evelina even begged for forgiveness on her knees; she should have cooled off by now."

After hanging up, Caspian, frustrated, smashed things around in his hospital room.

It was only today, after removing the bandages, that Caspian saw the extent of the scars on his face, including keloid scars, which made his appearance frightening.

He couldn't help but dial Lemira's number, only to be met by her cold voice.

"If you're calling to make amends, save your breath."

"Caspian, I too was deceived by Evelina. And look at me now, disfigured. Haven't I paid enough? Why push me to the brink?"

Caspian was dejected, "If you get me and Alaric jailed, how could you face our parents when visiting their graves during the holidays?"
