Caspian was momentarily speechless. “But I've worked so hard to get the company to where it is today.”

“I know, but you can use Asher's shares. And you'll still be the star of the show. No matter how you look at it, you're in a win-win situation.”

“Lemira, when did you become so greedy?”

Lemira stepped closer, her voice low and haunting. “Me, greedy? Without my hard work and scripts, would your company have thrived like this? I'm only asking for what I deserve.”
