"Lucian."

"Be good!"

Evelina, though reluctant, had no choice but to leave.

Lucian gave the school doctor before him another look. There was something about his aura that screamed he wasn't just anybody.

"Where's Lemmy?" Lucian asked.

"I'm under no obligation to tell you. But she's under my watch, and I don't want you doing anything that could harm her before her exams."

"What do you mean by 'harming Lemmy'? She's my sister; I would never hurt her. You, on the other hand, a mysterious school doctor, what do you want with her?"

Lucian found this doctor intriguingly odd.

Orion's gaze was icy, sharp as a blade, "That's none of your concern."

"Lemira is my sister, why wouldn't it be my concern?"

Lucian remembered how this same man had called the cops last time, forcing Alaric to move out and stay away from Lemira.

Orion, with one hand in his pocket, looked disdainfully at Lucian, "Look after your adopted sister and spare me the fake compassion."

After saying that, the elevator doors opened, and a middle-aged man stepped out.

Seeing him, Lucian quickly said, "Manager, there's a suspicious person here." He hoped to learn more about the school doctor from the manager.

The middle-aged man, upon seeing Orion, treated him with utmost respect and turned to Lucian, "Mr. Langston, our diner has closed for the night, please leave."

Lucian looked at Orion, "What about him?"

"Mr. Langston, right this way, please," the manager didn't answer Lucian's question.

Escorted politely by a server into the elevator, Lucian watched Orion, who stood still, his back to Lucian. His silhouette was tall and proud.
