Evelina's certainty faded as she listened, especially since that streamer's voice was eerily similar to Lemira's.

It was like they were the same person! But she refused to admit that Lemira could actually be that streamer, comforting herself by thinking that Lemira couldn't be that capable.

Judy mocked loudly: "Come off it, Lemira. Just because the streamer doesn’t show her face and happens to sound like you, doesn't mean you can take all the credit."

Jessica defended Lemira fiercely, "But Lemira is amazing, too. She pulled off a twelve-hit combo and won the playoff!"

"That's right, someone was just dead weight in that match. It was all thanks to Lemira that they won."

"Exactly, Evelina. You're just jealous because Lemira plays way better than you!"

Evelina's eyes suddenly reddened. The boys in the class immediately started defending Evelina.

"Lemira, look what you've done, making Evelina cry. You better apologize."

Lemira was unfazed, "It’s right she's lousy at that!"

Evelina, feeling resentful, still feigned a pitiful look, "Let's just drop it, everyone. I admit I'm not great at games, no matter how hard I try, I can't beat Lemmy. But I'm definitely not jealous, I'm happy for her."

Lemira scoffed, "Good to know you realize your mistake. Keep trying."

Evelina was choked, not expecting Lemira to respond like that. But the boys kept defending Evelina, "Lemira, so what if you're slightly better at gaming? Showing off is wrong."

"Yeah, and you made Evelina cry. You need to apologize and make it up to her."

"As if you lot could make me."
