The day I met Jasmine, I thought I was dreaming.

But with the sharp intuition I had honed over the years, I was certain it was her.

This woman who had made me both die and live—how dare she show up in front of me again? How dare she even get into the same elevator as me?

I fought the urge to strangle her and pretended I didn’t care.

Until I couldn’t hold back anymore and asked about her husband.

When I heard that Tyler was dead, I was shocked, but strangely pleased.

I even wondered, since her husband was dead, could we perhaps be together again?

But then Serena's call came through, pulling me back to my senses.

I couldn’t, because she had betrayed me before.

Yet, Jasmine... it was as if she had an innate magic that attracted me.

I felt moved when I saw her back, mesmerized when I watched her paint.

I admit, asking her to change the mural was my idea. Why? Because, after I died overseas, she was still standing here in front of me.

I pretended to be working late, staying with her in the dark every night, and couldn't help wanting to torment her.

That night, I really scared her.

I vented all the jealousy and longing of these years through insults.

Until she trembled all over, laughing and crying as she looked at me.
