Yet, that side profile, it reminded him so much of her late mother. 

A sharp pain twisted in Farley’s heart as he pushed the door open and left. 

Sherilyn remained seated, her laughter slowly fading, a wave of melancholy gradually surfacing… 

Returning to the dance studio, her children’s class ended at 4:30. 

With nothing else on her agenda, Sherilyn decided to go somewhere. 

Exiting the studio, she headed to a nearby flower shop. 

While picking out flowers, Gilbert called. 

“Hello?” 

“Sherilyn.” Gilbert’s voice was cheerful, seemingly in a good mood, “Where are you? I’m at the studio.”
