Sherilyn had been lounging around Sunset Ridge Community until the afternoon; Jenna took a nap, giving Sherilyn the perfect chance to step out and head towards Emerald Estates.

She was about to leave Sunhaven for good. If there was anything she was worried about leaving behind, it was Rebecca.

"Sherilyn!"

As soon as she walked in, Rebecca grabbed her, handing over her smartphone.

"What's up?" Sherilyn asked, confused.

"Can you do me a favor and check my bank balance?"

"Why?"

Rebecca sighed, "Here's the thing..."

She nodded towards the housekeeper bustling around. "I asked her about her fees, and she mentioned Mr. Francis already covered her for three months. I plan to reimburse him next time..."

She felt she had imposed enough on Francis; she couldn't possibly spend his money as well.

That made sense. Sherilyn checked the phone for her. Rebecca breathed a sigh of relief, "Good, there's enough."

Suddenly, Sherilyn felt a pang of sadness, "Rebecca, take care of yourself..."

Rebecca paused, understanding Sherilyn was leaving soon. She smiled and nodded, "I will. You too, make sure to keep in touch once you're in Crestwood."

"Of course."

They shared a knowing smile.

"Sherilyn, try this orange... it's really sweet."

"Sure."

Sherilyn took it and then suddenly clutched her stomach, frowning and making a small noise of discomfort, "Ugh..."

"What's wrong?" Rebecca, relying on her heightened sense of hearing, asked, "Are you okay?"

"I'm not sure."

Sherilyn shook her head, her brow furrowed.

Her stomach felt off, similar to the discomfort before her period but not as intense, just a slight, peculiar sensation.

"I need to use the restroom."

The doctor, after examining her, couldn't be certain, "It's early in the pregnancy, and the bleeding isn't severe. It's not uncommon for some women to experience minor bleeding in the early stages. If you're concerned, perhaps a thorough check-up?"

Hearing this, Sherilyn felt slightly relieved. But to be on the safe side, she agreed to the tests, "Could you arrange that for me, doctor?"

"Sure."

"Sherilyn," Rebecca reassured her, trying to lift her spirits, "It's going to be okay."

"Yeah." Sherilyn pursed her lips, nodding. "I know."

It hadn't been long since she found out she was pregnant, and she had been extremely careful since they started trying... Her baby would be alright.

That night, Gilbert received a call from Yates.

"What's up?" It was the middle of the night for Gilbert, still dark outside.

Yates chuckled, "Already fed up? No good deed goes unpunished!"

"Cut to the chase, or I'm hanging up!"

"Hey!" Yates laughed, "I do have something... I wanted to ask you, do you know if Sherilyn has been in touch with Nanson recently?"
