Grandma White was out of the woods, but she wasn't quite ready to leave the hospital just yet. She needed more time to recuperate within its walls.

But, Rebecca couldn't shake off her lingering worries. "What if she comes back again?"

"It won't happen."

Frank shook his head with assurance. "I dropped the ball last time, but I've got someone on watch now. If there's even a whisper of movement from her, I'll know about it right away."

His voice softened, "And with little Jimmy throwing a tantrum every day, I'm gonna need your help a bit longer. Is that okay?"

Rebecca bit her lip, silent. She wasn't naive.

She could sense this was Frank's stopgap solution.

But she couldn't bear the thought of leaving little Jimmy either...

After a moment of inner turmoil, she nodded in agreement.

"Okay, but..."

Her expression was serious, "Please, Mr. Johnson, find a replacement tutor as soon as possible. According to the company's resignation policy, one month should be enough."

One month?

Frank raised an eyebrow slightly, "Alright."

That's what he said for now. As for one month... well, that was a bridge to be crossed later.

Rebecca didn't catch the hidden thoughts behind his agreement. Seeing him comply, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"What are you waiting for?"

Frank glanced at her, urging her on, "Aren't you leaving?"

"Right now?" Rebecca blinked in surprise.

"What else?" Frank smirked, "Jimmy's at home waiting for his Ms. White."

With that, he led the way.

"Come on! Grab your bag and follow me!"

"Oh, okay."

Soon, Frank drove Rebecca back to the Johnson Estate.

"Ms. White!"

As soon as they entered, Jimmy's footsteps thundered across the floorboards, rushing towards them.

Having received a call from Frank on the way, Jimmy knew Rebecca was coming. The moment he heard the door, he dashed out to greet her.

Frank had just finished his workout and they crossed paths.

"Mr. Johnson." Rebecca smiled politely, "I'll be heading out now."

"Hang on..." Frank intercepted her, "The subway station nearby is under maintenance. Let me drive you."

Rebecca hesitated, knowing that without the subway, getting home would indeed be a hassle.

"I can drop you at the next subway station. How about that?" Frank suggested, careful not to push too hard.

"Well... thank you."

"My pleasure."

They headed to the garage together, and Frank drove out of the Johnson Estate.

Rebecca sat in the passenger seat, fiddling with her phone, scrolling through social media to alleviate the awkwardness of their solitude.

Suddenly, Rebecca stiffened, her grip on her phone tightening before she sat up straight, a look of alarm crossing her face.

"Rebecca White?"

Frank glanced over, concerned, "What's wrong?"
